Second Entry to Mizz Worthy's Super Heroes & Villains Contest!

This is my second entry into Mizz Worthy's Super Heroes & Villains Contest. I really enjoyed doing Magneto for the Villain category so I thought I would put a second entry into the Hero category.

My inspiration for this entry is from the Marvel comic book super hero 'Captain America' pictured above. For nearly all of the character's publication history Captain America was the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a sickly young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with an indestructible shield that can be thrown as a weapon.

The inspiration for the look came from Capatin America's costume which is red, white and blue. I took the stripes and star elements from his costume and adapted them so they would fit nicely onto the eyes and face creating a dramatic make up look.

So without further ado, here is my interpretation of Captain America in make up!
