I was sent 4 Cellnique products to try out and review tailored to my individual skin care needs. I received the Cellnique Derma Brightening Complex, Intensive Hydrating Complex, Intensive Hydrating Silk Masque and Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion

Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Silk Masque ($41.00, around £26.00 for 5pcs)

Cellnique say ”This multi-property sheet masque intensely hydrates, moisturizes and regenerates skin from within, leaving it dewy-soft, youthful and supple. It is also fortified with anti-aging properties to reduce the appearance of fine lines”.

Benefits of the Intensive Hydrating Masque are that it retains and holds moisture within the skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles depth, stimulates collagen synthesis and restores skins natural radiance.

This is one of those masks that comes on a face shaped sheet. It has holes in it for both eyes, nose and mouth area. You apply it and then lay back and relax for 15 – 30 minutes. It is lightly fragranced and feels absolutely wonderful when it is on, and feels very soothing and refreshing. After the 30 minutes is up you simply peel of the sheet and rub any left over serum into the skin prior to rinsing it off with warm water. I have been using this once a week.

Immediately after using this masque my skin feels very nourished and hydrated. It also has a brightening effect which lasts for quite a few hours, leaving my skin looking glowing and full of life.

Cellnique Derma Brightening Complex ($45.00, around £28.00 for 30ml)
”Formulated with exclusive Triple Action Melano-Targeting technology, this strongly effective yet gentle formulation works excellent on skin discoloration, dull and uneven skin tone, restores skin’s luminous glow without provoking any skin irritation or peeling. Unprecedented clarity radiates from within”.

Benefits of the Derma Brightening complex are that it works on skin discoloration, dull and uneven skin tone; exfoliates dead skin cells without provoking skin irritation; has rich moisturizing arributes for skin softening; promoting a firmer skin texture and has antioxidant protection for the skin.

The Derma Brightening Complex comes with a pipette which allows you to use a precise amount of product with each use. The serum itself is quite a thick straw coloured substance but is also non sticky and silky smooth when applied to the skin.

I use around 3 drops of this with each application (after cleansing), morning and night, and it is enough to generously cover both the face and neck area. It has a smell that I cannot really describe but it is in no way unpleasant. It absorbs easily and feels nice and refreshing once applied

Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Complex ($61.00, around £38.00 for 30ml)

”A lightweight formulation with high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid and Essential Amino Acids. Helps bind moisture to restore elasticity of the skin. It thereby minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and helps deliver an instant supple and smooth skin”.

Benefits of the Intensive Hydrating Complex are that it keeps skin moist and smooth; locks in skin moisture and improves any scarring, lines and skin tone.

Like the Derma Brightening Complex, the Intensive Hydrating Complex comes with a pipette for precise application. The serum is a clear fluid that is thinner in consistency than the Derma Brightening Complex. Again, I found that around 3 drops was enough to generously cover the face neck and eye area. I applied this after the Derma Brightening Complex had sank in, morning and night

Cellnique Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion ($73.00, around £46.00 for 50ml)

”Specially designed to repair damaged cells and promote healing process, this formulation protects all skin types including sensitive skin from environment aggressions and provides relief to dry and dehydrated skin conditions”.

Benefits of using the Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion are that it repairs damaged cells and promotes healing process; replenishes moisture and softens skin; has an antioxidant and whitening agent and is anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory.

The Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion is an yellowish coloured emulsion that is ultra moisturising and gel like in consistency. I find that it takes a few minutes to sink into the skin, but when it does, my skin feels really soft and smooth. I found that only a small amount is needed to cover the face and neck and I apply this morning and night after applying the serums, a little goes a very long way with this product, only a penny size amount is needed. It is lightly fragranced with a scent that I can only describe as ‘fresh’. It is a lovely moisturiser and has done wonders to my very dry/dehydrated skin.

You are now going to see some before and after pictures. I am really bearing all here, as I am not wearing any make up in the pictures. This is to give you a good impression of how the products have worked for me. Both the before and after pictures were taken the day after I had applied my fake tan. I did not want my skin tone interferring with the results.

Before using the Cellnique products on the left and after using the products for 2 weeks on the right.

As in the picture above, before on the left and after on the right.

As you can see in the pictures there is a definite visible difference to my skin. I was quite surprised by the results, I knew my skin certainly felt/looked better but I didn’t realise just how much better it was until I saw these pictures together.

I find it incredible that in such a short space of time (only 2 weeks) my skin has improved dramatically. The Derma Brightening Complex has done a wonderful job of evening out my skin tone, minimising skin discolouration, leaving my skin with a healthy dewy glow.

The combination of the Intensive Hydrating Silk Masque; the Intensive Hydrating Complex and the Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion had given my skin a serious moisturising boost. My skin has never felt better since I started using these. It remains moisturised throughout the day and my skin feels supple and smooth without a flaky dry patch in sight.

I don’t really have a bad word to say about these products as I have had a fantastic overall experience with them. The results have been surprisingly dramatic . The only downside that I can come up with is perhaps the price. These products are certainly not cheap and for some people would be completely unaffordable. However, if these products are within your price range then I would highly recommend you give them a go, as they definitely deliver visible results, fast.
