Here is the new Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint that has been causing a stir in the blogging community lately. I have it in shade Beige.
Liz has said that over the last 16 years, her customers have constantly been asking for her to create a makeup range, that gives the same great results as the current skin care range.
Liz says......
''We have formulated a unique, high performance beauty must-have that delivers great results on all skin types. Sheer Skin Tint is our first step into effortless, easy to wear colour. It's a skin thing!''
''Our new Sheer Skin Tint is the natural bridge from skin care through to colour. It is rich and creamy like a foundation, yet so lightweight it glides effortlessly onto the skin, blending easily to enhance natural skin tones. We believe in exceeding our customers' expectations, so just like our Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Sheer Skin Tint delivers dependable, visible results for all skin types. Designed for use all year round, our unique, high performance formulation leaves skin looking dewy, even and radiant, with the perfect level of coverage for every woman to achieve naturally beautiful skin.
With mineral UV protection SPF15, Sheer Skin Tint is also enriched with our own carefully selected blend of botanicals: natural source vitamen E, avocado and borage, to work in harmony with our Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare range'' (Liz Earle)

Liz earle Skin Tint is available in three shades; Bare, Beige and Beach. I have it in shade Beige...swatched above on left, blended out on the right.
Here it is in action....

I've worn this a couple of times now and I have to say, I'm very impressed. The Skin Tint is a light coverage foundation which in my opinion has slightly more coverage than a tinted moisturiser. The formulation is lovely and it does indeed glide effortlessly onto the skin. I have applied this with my fingers each time and have achieved a perfect finish this way. It leaves a beautiful dewy finish on the skin. You could leave it dewy or apply a light dusting of powder if you wish. I have done both and it looks lovely either way.
The best thing about this Skin Tint for me is the fact that it just looks like my skin but better. As it is a light coverage, it blends away imperfections without masking them completely. This achieves a much more natural result. It also wears really well and lasts a full 8 hours + on my skin. My other half even commented on how lovely my skin looks with this on! The only gripe I have with it and it's a minor one, is that it has very little scent. I would have loved for it to have been slightly scented like other products in the Liz Earle range. However, this is only personal preference and may not be to everyone's taste anyway. Overall it has definitely exceeded my expectations!
Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint will be available from September 15th 2011 costing £21.00 for 40ml
