Prestige My Biggest Lashes Mascara

Photobucket

I discovered this mascara in one of my  make up drawers a while back whilst shopping my stash. I found it right at the back still with its wrapper on, unused and unloved.

I actually can't stand the packaging itself. It looks plasticky and cheap. However, it's what's inside that counts, and the mascara itself is really fantastic.

My Biggest Lashes claims to  be ''Your thickest, longest, biggest lashes ever! Instant dramatic volume and length with just one coat.

• Anti-clump
• Anti-flake
• Anti-smudge

When I first opened the tube and saw the brush I was a bit dubious to be honest. The brush is really big and I don't usually like go for large mascara wands,  I generally find them more difficult to use/apply. However, the formulation of this mascara is just right for me, not too wet or dry, just somewhere in between. It coats my lashes evenly without clumping and gives a nice dramatic effect. So I'm willing to forgive the massive wand issue.

I find it both volumising and lengthening. It is true that it does not smudge or flake, and wears amazingly well throughout the day. My only gripe is that I find it is quite a bitch to remove, and it takes a few good goes with an oil based eye make up remover to get it all off. But I still really like it nevertheless.

I can't believe I neglected it for so long. It's a great cheap mascara, and certainly not one to be overlooked!

  3. This is one of my favorite mascaras too. It's super affordable, and just as good as Benefit Bad Gal mascara. Actually, I'd say it's even better, because Bad Gal tends to smudge on me, but I've never had that problem with My Biggest Lashes!

Hi, totally random but I had to say thankyou because I googled 'colour B4' and your blog came up from last year where you wrote about how you got on with it, and I just followed exactly what you did including colour choice with the casting gloss and it came out the colour I wanted it and I am so happy after having a bit of drama on my hair, so yeah, thanks again cause your review really helped me :) xx
