What do I think?

As you can see in the picture above there are a lot of ingredients in this product. With one of the main ones being paraffinium liquidum. I have to be honest here and say that this really did put me off the cleanser before I had even tried it. I much prefer products that don't contain this ingredient, especially ones I apply to my face.  I always worry it will block my pores and break me out! However, I put my negative thoughts to the back of my mind and gave it a go, like a good beauty blogger should!

The cleanser is creamy in consistency and not too thick, nor too thin. It has a subtle fresh scent which I find rather pleasant. The instructions say to apply this to cotton wool and gently wipe over the face. I have tried using the product this way but I find it easier to apply to my face with my fingers, massaging it into the skin and then rinsing it afterwards. This is because I feel it gives a deeper cleanse this way. I do find it quite greasy though once applied (that'll be the paraffinium liquidum), and it does take quite a bit of rinsing afterwards to ensure all traces of it have been removed. However, my skin does feel lovely and after using this for a number of weeks, it has not irritated my skin, and it hasn't broken me out thankfully. I still get the occassional zit but my breakouts have been no worse than normal.

So in despite it's list of off putting ingredients, I think it's a really nice cleanser, which does exactly what it's meant to, removes all traces of my makeup and gives a lovely thorough cleanse. Great value for money too as you get 200ml in the bottle, so it should last a good while.  This cleanser is also available for dry/sensitive and oily skin types. There are also exfoliating cleansers within the range that sound rather nice.

Has anyone tried any Sk:n products?

  2. I use the. Cleasnser to get all traces of my makeup off and then the exfoliating wash to refresh abd deep clean. I can't say enough how brill the exfoliating wash isl smells great just like the cleanser and basically does everything it claims to which is rare. I Like it because its derived from fruit acids so no harsh 'beads'. The practitioner who I saw at Sk:n recommended the product for me when I went for my skin analysis and even though they are a really reputable company I was naturally sceptical that they would work for me. I was happily proved wrong and now I go back for occasional reviews to assess my skin and ammend my routine as needed.love Sk:n products basically!
